And, we are off

Some time in early May, Ben and I went to sign up to take the GED. When we got to the place, we filled out some paperwork, then they had us take some tests. After the tests they told us to come back on the 22nd for orientation. At orientation we found out we have to take the GED official pre tests, and also meet with the teacher. On the same day as orientation we took four of five pre tests. On the 27th we met with the teacher and took the final pre test, filled out some paperwork to take the GED, well we didn't get done with the paperwork that day, so we went back yesterday, finished the paperwork, and got our schedule showing what tests we are taking on what days. Today we go back to take the first two parts, then the next time we go in is on June 4th, then once more on the fifth to take the other three parts of the test. I olny wanted to take the GED, now fianally, after having gone there four times before we can do what we went there to do in the first place.

Some random things i've done

1. Slept in the trunk of a car.

2. Been put in a chest freezer and had the lid closed on me .

3. Ben and I built a seven foot tall snowman

4. I also played chess against Ben out in the snow, on a table made of snow.

5. Set out a mouse trap line for Becky.I didn't skin what i caught though.

6. Set a mouse trap with my feet.

7. Hit myself in the head with nunchucks.(Tyrel's favorite toy)

8. Shaved my head.

9. I've given a sheep a miricle body massage.

10. With Becky, Stephen, and Ben , made spider hole cannons. For this you need a spider hole, gun powder, and a lighter.

11. Also with above mentioned people, gone spider hunting.(there was nothing else to shoot that night)

12. Put a shock collar on my arm, just to test it.

Well there more fun things that I've done, but they have full stories behind them, and i don't want to type them. So this is all you get ....For now

Late night

Last night i couldn't sleep ,so I came out into the kitchen and started cleaning. At midnight I tuned into coast to coast am with George Noory, and kept cleaning . Well George was talking about a particle accelerator for the first hour, the second hour was about hydrogen fuel cells . At about 1:30 i got done cleaning , but I decided to listen to the rest of that hour. So I went to bed at 2:00 and my internal alarm clock was armed and got me up at 7:00 ,so I slept well.

I need to hunt

Since moving from Marlow I haven't really had a place to hunt. Well I'm tired of tired of waiting for us to move to a place that has land to hunt on. so I walked out into the "field" we have looking for critters to shoot. Well I saw a cottontail run out from under my foot. About half an hour after that I loaded my .22 rifle, and made another round of the field. But of course there was nothing after I had my gun. While I was making my armed survey I started thinking "maybe I should see when rabbits and such are in season, and maybe I should get a hunting licence." Well ,spring squirrel season starts may 10th, so I've got until then to get a licence. While I'm at it I think i should get my fishing licence.

Cabin Fever

Yesterday on mythbusters they had an Alaska special. One of the things that they were testing was cabin fever. Well they gave a list of symptoms, and I do believe that I have experienced cabin fever .In December it was, Ben had left to go work with Bill for a month, the weather was cold, wet and miserable.I couldn't go walking ,and I was stuck inside. I matched two symptoms at least 1. irritability 2.jittery .I don't remember excessive sleeping or angry eyes. But three things that help me fight it are walking(long distances),cooking and cleaning. I think I need a drier climate for winter.

Science experiment

Yesterday Ben was telling me about footage of an atomic bomb he had recently seen. It is on a cloudy day, and when the bomb explodes the shock wave pushes the clouds away . This got me thinking "What would happen if a hydrogen bomb was dropped on a hurricane?" Well without sufficient data, and not having the supplies to test, I just decided to post, so what you will need is

1 hydrogen bomb

1 hurricane in remote region

Please send results (video if possible) (satellite imagery welcome )

Spider bites

Spider bites aren't much fun. I know i have had two. One couldn't be hidden, And the other one I didn't want to mention. The unmentionable one was first, and I had a hard time sitting down, and standing up again ,and walking.I made sure to put pillows down where I was sitting. But on to the other. The other was on my cheek, and it made eating less than enjoyable, it never really hurt. It was a dull ache that never went away ,and the ache slowly wore down the mind. Also, looking back the bite seemed to put my mind in a fog. Well the bites haven't made me scared of spiders(I know because my sister is.) But I am cautious, like killing any I see 'I mean really smashing them to as flat as they will go.
